\u03a5iam – Melivoia Chestnut Preserve with Madagascar Vanilla! <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Light in texture, rich in character, a preserve that redefines what chestnuts can be.<\/p>\r\n

Crafted using the renowned chestnuts of Melivoia, each one peeled by hand, this is the first handcrafted Greek preserve of its kind. The result is a velvety, full-bodied spread with a long, warm finish that lingers beautifully.<\/p>\r\n

At Olicatessen, we envisioned a version that honours tradition while expressing clarity and balance. The addition of genuine Madagascar vanilla introduces delicate sweetness, gently lifting the natural, earthy depth of the chestnut. Small pieces of chestnut remain throughout, adding texture and quiet complexity.<\/p>\r\n

Produced in small, numbered batches by Avra Panousopoulou, this preserve follows a true slow-cooking philosophy, allowing flavour to develop naturally and without haste. It brings the comfort of winter to the table, yet feels equally refined in lighter, seasonal settings.<\/p>\r\n

This is more than a jam, it is a crafted expression of Greek provenance, thoughtful, restrained and deeply satisfying.<\/p>\r\n
