A few words about the company
The company’s main concern is the selection of high-quality raw materials. The best cocoa is sourced from Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and Tanzania. Cocoa from these regions is rich in aromas, ideal for the production of high-quality chocolate. Then the cocoa beans are transported to the laboratory where they are cleaned and refined. In addition to cocoa beans, cocoa butter is also a key ingredient for the production of chocolate, it is the vegetable fat contained in cocoa beans and does not contain cholesterol.
For Gianduja chocolate, she only uses Piedmont IGP hazelnuts from the Langhe, one of the most suitable hazelnut regions. Hazelnuts are a very important material for Guodio Gobino. To ensure their origin and quality, she selects only those that are collected from her own fields or from producers who work exclusively with her. They are then roasted directly at the Chocolate Factory in Turin.
The hazelnut oil it uses is unique for its purity and nutritional properties. It is obtained by cold pressing the fruits of Piedmont IGP hazelnuts, directly in its laboratories. It is rich in flavonoids and vitamins, has antioxidant properties and comes only from hazelnuts of its own production.
Finally, the milk is sourced from a controlled and certified production chain. Thanks to an important agreement with Dairy Inalpi, the milk it uses comes entirely from farms in the Piedmont Alpine chain in the provinces of Turin, Asti and Cuneo.
