However, growing waste from packaging is a huge problem for the planet. In 2008, SONNENTOR began the transition from conventional to sustainable materials. About 70% of SONNENTOR’s materials are made from renewable materials. These include sheets of wood fibers, tea bags made of banana fibers, the use of paper and cardboard. What cannot be composted – such as glass and metal – can be recycled.
