Oregano is considered one of the basic ingredients of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine in general. It is an antioxidant herb with a strong aroma, bitter and spicy taste. It is harvested in July from the region of Serres. It goes well with meat and fish, with the country salad, on feta cheese with olive oil, for marinades.
You will find it in a handmade ceramic, opaque bowl to block the penetration of light and keep the aroma and taste of the spice unchanged. Its shape is inspired by the ancient dishes used in the area of Messolonghi, with which salt, spices and herbs were served. Comes with a wooden spoon.
