Description
Beetrip – Organic Oak Honey!
Beetrip Organic Oak Honey is harvested in the mountainous forests of Florina and Kastoria in northern Greece, at altitudes exceeding 1,100 meters.
In these wild and pristine landscapes, bees collect honeydew from oak trees, producing one of the rarest and most distinctive Greek honeys.
Oak honey is known for its very dark colour and dense texture. Its flavour is deep and complex, offering a gentle sweetness with subtle notes of dried fruits, caramel and forest aromas.
Naturally rich in phenols and antioxidants, oak honey is highly valued for both its nutritional properties and its bold, distinctive character.
Due to its high fructose content, oak honey crystallizes extremely slowly and may remain liquid for years.
Beetrip is a Greek beekeeping project inspired by nature’s rhythm and the rich biodiversity of Greece. The beehives travel across the country, from mountain meadows and wild herb fields to dense forests and pine landscapes, allowing the bees to gather nectar from diverse ecosystems.
This approach to organic beekeeping focuses on respecting both the environment and the well-being of the bees. Each honey variety reflects the landscape it comes from — the aromas of wild herbs, the depth of forest flora, and the purity of Greek nature.
The result is authentic organic Greek honey, full of character, aroma, and natural nutrients, capturing the journey of the bees in every jar.
