Description
Beetrip – Organic Pine Honey!
Beetrip Organic Pine Honey is harvested in the pine forests of Thassos island and Halkidiki, regions known for their rich Mediterranean landscapes and sea-influenced ecosystems.
During late summer, the beehives are carefully placed in these forests where bees collect honeydew produced naturally on the pine trees. Unlike blossom honeys, pine honey has a milder sweetness and a naturally higher content of minerals and trace elements.
Its flavour is smooth and balanced, with subtle resinous notes and a delicate hint of sea breeze from the coastal forests. The texture is thick and velvety, while its colour ranges from amber to deep brown.
Thanks to its naturally low glucose levels, pine honey crystallizes very slowly and often remains liquid for a long time.
Beetrip is a Greek beekeeping project inspired by nature’s rhythm and the rich biodiversity of Greece. The beehives travel across the country, from mountain meadows and wild herb fields to dense forests and pine landscapes, allowing the bees to gather nectar from diverse ecosystems.
This approach to organic beekeeping focuses on respecting both the environment and the well-being of the bees. Each honey variety reflects the landscape it comes from — the aromas of wild herbs, the depth of forest flora, and the purity of Greek nature.
The result is authentic organic Greek honey, full of character, aroma, and natural nutrients, capturing the journey of the bees in every jar.
