Harvested before the olives reach full ripeness, Yapapi Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil captures the freshest expression of the Koroneiki olive. Produced from a single family grove in Yapapi, just outside Kalamata, this limited harvest reflects generations of care, craftsmanship and a deep connection to the land.

The olives are hand-picked in October and cold-extracted immediately at the family’s own mill, preserving their vibrant aromas, naturally high polyphenol content and exceptional freshness.

Bright, lively and beautifully balanced, this early harvest olive oil offers fresh green notes, a pleasant peppery finish and elegant bitterness- classic characteristics of premium agourelaio. Its naturally low acidity and rich antioxidant profile make it as nutritious as it is flavourful.

A few words about the company

Our family has been making extra virgin olive oil for generations in Giapapi, near Kalamata, where we live and have about 800 olive trees. We take care of them all year round and harvest them by hand. They are like part of our family. Here we produce an extra virgin olive oil of fantastic quality. We use it for our own use (Greeks need a lot of olive oil!) and we usually sell everything else at a low price to distributors.

For many years, we had a dream: to give everyone in the world access to our olive oil. We talked about it during every lunch break during the harvest. And then, an amazing road trip to Europe brought us closer to Jérôme, who is a French entrepreneur based in Vienna. We talked about our dream and our shared passion for olive oil. Jérôme visited us in Yapapi. We did the harvest together in November 2023 and decided that this product and this story have a duty to travel around the world. And so Yapapi began.
