Marmaro – Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Early Harvest is a superior category of olive oil. It has a strong taste and a slightly bitter, spicy aftertaste. Produced from unripe olives of the variety “Green olives of Halkidiki”, which are collected directly by hand. The process used is cold pressing, exclusively by mechanical means. It is low in acidity and high in antioxidants.
The daily consumption of 20 gr. from “MARMARO” olive oil provides 7.4 mg of tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol derivatives. Olive oils containing> 5 mg per 20 g. belong to the category of olive oils that protect against peroxidation of blood lipids, according to Regulation no. 432/2012 of the European Commission. It is emphasized that oleocarbon and oleosin have significant biological activity, as well as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties.
