Brutti e Buoni by Perbellini are traditional Italian meringue biscuits known for their crunchy texture and rustic appearance.
Their name translates to “ugly but good,” reflecting the contrast between their irregular shape and their irresistible flavour.
They are made in two varieties:

Each flavour is baked separately, cooled and then packaged together, offering a delightful combination of textures and aromas.

Pasticceria Perbellini is a historic name in Italian pastry making, with roots dating back to 1872. The company was founded by Luigi Perbellini in Isola della Scala, near Verona, and has grown through generations of pastry chefs who have preserved the tradition of artisanal confectionery.
In 1891, Giovanni Battista Perbellini created the famous Offella d’Oro, a soft almond cake that became a symbol of Veronese pastry tradition. Since then, the Perbellini family has continued to craft exceptional desserts that combine heritage, refined technique and carefully selected ingredients, keeping Italian pastry artistry alive.
