A few words about the company
The company’s history began three generations ago, around 1830, when Nikos Karamolegos relocated from Santorini to Syros, opening a small grocery store in Ermoupoli, Syros. An important role in the development of the company was played by the fact that its port was a major freight forwarding center from the mid-19th century until almost the mid-20th century.
The following generations continued and grew the business, developing, among other things, the fruit and vegetable trade with the other Cycladic islands and mainland Greece.
