Oak honey has many antioxidant properties, it contains potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and sodium. Due to the enzymes it contains, it enhances the metabolism and the functions of the vital organs. It is refreshing, beneficial for the heart due to the high level of potassium it contains. It helps digestion and strengthens the immune system.
In mid-summer bees are transported to Evrytania, in an area protected by Natura 2000, in a forest with oak trees. Oak honey is dark in color, with a special, rich and mellow taste.
